I think it's time for me to update you on how life is like on the other side of the planet. Australia so far, has blown me away. The weather, the people, the lanscapes, it's all so lovely. The temperature has been 30-34+ degrees very single day so far, almost too hot if I'm honest. I know a lot of people would love to get away from rain and cold weather, but the heat here is something else. It's sticky hot, almost uncomfortably hot if you're not in a pool, in the shade or where it's air-conditioned. But lets stop talking about the weather and start talking about what I've been doing so far. I've chilled by the pool, walked around town, swam in the lagoon, started doing some au pair duties, and this weekend I went out with a friend. We had so much fun, and we met so many lovely people. People here are very friendly and approachable which I personally think is very different to how people are in Sweden. And, because Cairns is a backpacker destination you get to meet people from all over the planet, pretty cool hey!
I haven't been here for that long but I have a feeling Australia is going to keep amazing me. I've only seen a small part of it so far, and so far I love what is seen.
