Here are a few of my current favourites, some were birthday presents and some I got myself. I really wanted to take a cool flat-lay so I figured I'd show you some of the things I've been loving recently. Also purchased some new filters on VSCO which are to die for!
After a long day of walking around it was so relaxing to lay down in the park, in the sunshine, in the heat and just lay there. I wish I lived in a place where heat and sunshine was constant. I'm starting to think that summer in Sweden has passed. The last few days the weather here has been acting like its Autumn, and it's just August. 13 degrees during the day, rainy, windy, what the heck?!
Anyway, this should be my last post with London pictures. I've got some ideas in store for upcoming posts which I'm feeling exited about. Also, if anyone has any suggestions or topics they'd like me to talk about just leave me a comment. Have an awesome weekend! On Sunday we spent the day walking around Shoreditch, which is in East London. I had never been to this part of London before but this part of London has so much character and a lot of cool stuff to offer. I believe Shoreditch is known to be the "hipster" part of London and it totally makes sense. There's heaps of cool street art, markets, thrift shops, music playing, small quirky shops and then there was Boxpark which was really cool. Definitely a place I'd say is worth checking out if you're in London.

This past weekend I turned 20 which means I'm now officially an adult and I decided to treat myself to a very special birthday present. The Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots had been on my wish-list for ages. I tried them on when I was in Australia but decided not to get them because I thought they were way to expensive. But on the day of my birthday I just wanted to have a look around, check out some of the shops that we don't have at home. So I went in to Russel & Bromley on Brompton Road. As I walk in I look to my right and see these boots, so I walk over to the shelf and looked at them. I looked at the price and was surprised by the fact that they were actually a lot cheaper than when I originally tried them on in Sydney. So I asked one of the sales assistents if they could please see if they had my size as I wanted to try them on. At this point I was still not sure wether or not to get them. So, I try them on, looked in the mirror and and thought "it's your 20th birthday, get the boots". So that is exactly what I did. I know myself, had I not have bought them then, I would've regretted not getting them. They are totally an "it girl" shoe, but it would suit so many different women and they work so well with different styles. At the end of the day, I'd say that they are in fact an investment piece. They are an item that will last you a long time due to the impeccable quality and also because it's a classic. I'm confident that I will still be glad i got these ten years from now.
I seriously cannot really fully grasp that I am turning 20 in a few days time. The big 2 0! I'll be heading off to London for the weekend where I will be celebrating my bday. I haven't been to London for 3 years (!!!) so I literally cannot wait to get on that plane on Friday.
