If there is one thing you should really try to take care of, it's your skin. Just imagine the things your skin has to endure. Dirt, bacteria, sunburn, pimples, makeup... Yeah, pretty nasty hey?! Benefit is one of my favourite brands when it comes to makeup and when I realised they also have a skincare range I just needed to get some of the products. I haven't actually tried any of these products yet as I wanted to make sure I had all the products I needed. Also, good products is just one of a few things to have in mind when it comes to taking care of your skin. I always use Sephora's own makeup remover because it does a marvellous job. As you can see I got a peeling, a foaming cleanser, a toner and a face cream. I've read lots of great reviews and I'm exited to test these out myself.

Hello there makeup junkies! Ive finally got my hand on some really exiting products. I collected these items over the past week and thought I'd show you and talk about the little beauties that Ive bought.
I've actually tried the Dior lip maximiser before and I loved it, so I finally purchased it and I'm so glad I did. Basically it's a lip plumper with a very, very sheer pink colour. It pretty much just looks like a clear lipgloss. I love the tingly feeling in my lips when I've applied it. it's kind of a weird feeling but I like it. Then I also got the NARS blush that everyone seems to be raving about, Orgasm. It is such a beautiful shade. Honestly, it looks a little bit scary in the pan because it looks super shimmery but once I applied it onto my face it just looked like a beautiful, natural, healthy wash of colour. I also love the fact that NARS is cruelty free! I really wish there was more brands that didn't test on animals... I really wanted a bold red lipliner. You know how amazing it looks with a cat eye and a bold lip, super simple but so bold. A friend of mine purchased a Chanel lipliner, though in a different colour and it looked great. So I asked her to get one for me in red at the taxfree shop on the boat where she works. I haven't actually tried it yet so I'll keep you updated. The little Kat Von D lipstick was given to me at Sephora in Sydney when I bought some other stuff. I haven't tried this either but I've only heard good things about Kat's makeup range and I love, love, love that she too, is all about cruelty free makeup. While I was away in Aus, my diet was not the healthiest. I would eat a lot of carbs in the form of bread and pasta. Why? Because it's cheap and I was travelling. So I ended up putting on some weight. Though some of the weight was muscle from the hard work I was doing, but I'd say most of the weight was from drinking, eating loads of carbs and not exercising enough.
So, when I came home I decided to try and stay away from eating bread and pasta. I've lost a little bit of weight and don't feel swelled up anymore. I don't want go back to being as skinny as I was before Australia but I do want to be toned and fit. I've now challenged myself to do some type of workout or activity every day for 30 days. It's been five days now and I've been working out every day and I'm actually enjoying it. I've done bum workouts, abs & core, swimming, more core & abs, and I've even been out for a run which I detest. I think It's going to be interesting to see what my body looks like 25 days from now. Hopefully there will be some payoff. |
