Showing off my new top and necklace from Tree of Life and my non-chlorine tasting water. Tap water in Australia tastes so bad. On weekends we chill at the beach, blue water, blue sky, perfect! The colour of my skin has changed a little since coming to Australia.

Let me start off by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR! I know I'm a little late wishing you happy new year on the 26th of January but better late than never, right? Anyway, I thought I'd update everyone whats been going on the past month, trust me when I say a lot has happened. I'm not going to go into detail because their post would be endless and no-one would want to read it so I'm going make the long story short.
I'm no longer working as an Au Pair, I was feeling so down and unhappy and it just wasn't working out the way I thought it would. So on the 2nd of Jan I moved to a tiny little place on the countryside where I started working on a banana farm for my second year visa. And you might be thinking "what the hell, she just got to Australia, does she really need the second year visa now?!" and the answer is; No. I don't actually need it now but I want to get it done so I don't have to think about it later. Working on a banana farm is probably one of the hardest jobs you can ever imagine, it's not just physically tiring but also mentally. I work about 9 hours a day on the weekdays and the only thing you can do while working is think, just think and think and think. But I've started my fourth week and I'm getting used to it now, but I'll be so happy to leave in about 9 weeks. Thank goodness I get the weekends off or I would literally lose the plot. |
