How amazing was the VSFS 2016?!? I didn't want it to end and they were all so so so beautiful! And Bruno Mars KILLED IT! Don't have one bad word to say, it was just breathtaking and I couldn't stop smiling the entire show! I think going to see the show live would be on my top 10 on my bucket list. A girl can always dream... I loved the makeup this year, I'm pretty sure almost all of the models were rocking a little cat-eye and it so worked! Also, Inoticed how the brows on the girls were kind of bushy but structured if you know what I mean, I love brows like that. Here is my take on the makeup look for this years show. I did a brown-bronzy-nude smokey eye with a little flick (I'm shit at eyeliner, I know), long flirty lashes, glossy nude lips and sunkissed skin.
My personal favourites this year was Romee Strijd who looked absoluteley, insanely gorgeous. And, of course Elsa Hosk who opened the show in her amazing dragon costume and she's Swedish, #represent.

I absolutely love playing around with makeup but, most of the time I end up doing the same routine if it's just for like daytime or something casual. As you will see, I don't use a never ending long list of products. I keep it very easy and use as few product as I can to spare time. I always use a very light coverage foundation so that it looks as natural as possible. Using a full coverage foundation for daytime is just putting unnecessary stress on my skin, I'd rather wear something like that for a special occasion. Unfortunately my skin is nowhere near perfect, but l always make sure to apply my makeup to a clean and moisturised face.
This was my second time in Barcelona. I went on a girls weekend trip with two good friends of mine to get away from cold, wet snowy Sweden for a few days. Last time I came here I left with a rather bland impression on this city, which so many people seem to be completely head over heals for. So this time I was hoping that I'd leave feeling a little more enthusiastic about Barcelona. So I thought I'd give you my thoughts, there will be positives and even though I don't like being negative, there will be some cons. Let's start with the thing you just should not miss, I'm talking Park Guell, La Rambla and Sagrada Familia. I just think that those are three things that are famous landmarks in Barcelona and it's sort of a must to see them when you're there. We decided to go on a hike up to Park Guell one morning where you can see the whole city. Then of course theres the food. I feel like it really can either be a hit or miss with the food. I usually go by one thing when I'm looking for a place to eat; is a lot of people sat in the restaurant? If theres a lot of people sat in a restaurant that should be a clear sign that the food is good. I can't really recommend any places because I don't really think the places we went to were that fantastic. The food could be great at some places but the service was horrible, or the service was great and the food not so much. Though I will say, do not miss the food market on La Rambla. There was so much food, colours, smells and the whole atmosphere was great. Mojito's, Daiquiris, Cuba Libre's... I won't deny that we all may have had one too many drinks during our trip. But the drinks down there are so yum! Thankfully we were shown around and taken to some really cool spots, nothing like I've ever seen before. The bars we went to were little tucked away places in the alleyways and smaller streets. But please, do not leave your drinks unattended as there is a risk of your drink being spiked. I personally haven't experienced it, but we did observe it and it was very scary to think that it could just as well had been me who got drugged. There is so much incredible street art in Barcelona. If it weren't for all the colourful graffiti the streets would look rather boring I think. The harbour side is so beautiful, theres lots of stunning boats, and the promenad is lined with palm trees, and people playing music, yes please! Shopping here is fantastic, they've got so much to offer! You have got to pop in to ZARA while here because the stock here is incredible and it's way cheaper too. I've come home with a lot of goodies which I'm super exited about. Let's round it up. I would like to visit Barcelona again sometime but not for a while. It's definitely a destination worth travelling to and seeing but to be completely honest there are other places that I do prefer. But that's just my opinion, I know that a lot of people adore Barcelona.
I think I might have a little thing for clutch bags... I have a few myself but most of the time I wear my fluffy feather clutch from River Island or my beaded, sparkly one from Accessorize. I would love, love, LOVE, to own a Chanel 5.55 Classic Double Flap Bag, but I'm not really at that stage in life where I'm able to splurge on luxury goods like that. Anyway, as they are quite small you obviously can't fit a huge amount of stuff in them. I love how you can just wear across your body whereas if you wear a handbag you have to carry it on your arm or you shoulder. I usually ever only bring as few things as possible so I don't really need a big handbag. So this is what you'd find in my clutch bag:
What's your absolute must haves to keep in your bag/clutch?
Some of yo might already know that I post (or used to post) videos to my youtube channel. Since I went away last year I haven't uploaded anything at all. And this past summer I was non stop working. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to be more active on my channel and upload videos again. Almost all of the old videos have been privated because I feel like I've changed so much and would like to let myself have a new start. I'm more than happy to hear if you have any ideas for videos ar maybe you just want to say, don't be shy with leaving me a comment. But don't be horrible, there's just no need. xxxHow freaking cold was it this morning when I got up to walk the dogs?!? And it's only going to get colder from now on. I feel like these fall and winter months are going to be such a drag. Thank goodness I'm going to Barcelona in November.
Anyway, today I spent the day in Gothenburg with mum. I didn't really have the intention to come home with heaps of bags and an empty wallet but that's what happened. Though most of the things it got today were things I needed to get anyway. Got some gym clothes, trainers, birthday presents, and other bits and pieces that I'd run out of. Okay, I did end up getting a skirt and a bodysuit from Zara which wasn't really necessary but I just couldn't leave without them. Typical me! But I had such a nice day in the city, away from the "rabbit hole" as I like to call it. I don't think I've laughed as much as I did today in a long time. How gorgeous is this laptop case?? It's so sleek and simple. The "Marc by Marc Jacobs" range has been discontinued so the one that I wanted to get was no longer available. But then I was shown this one which I actually like more than the one I had in mind. Though because it's now purely Marc Jacobs the pricing is a little different, a bit more expensive. A little bit wrotten in my opinion since it's pretty much the same product apart from the fact that it now says "Marc Jacobs". But that's how it is with branded products, obviously you are paying for quality but I think a lot of the time you're also paying for what the name is.
These types of cases are so great cause they're very sleek. I could easily fit this into my bag (mine is big enough) and still have a decent amount of room left. Or I can just carry it as it is and not worry about it getting scratched. I like to keep my tech stuff safe because it wouldn't be fun if they end up being bumped, scratched and possibly break. "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall" - F. Scott Fitzgerald I cannot believe that it's autumn already! My absolute favourite season of the year is with out a doubt summer. Apart from the fact that it going to get colder and probably a lot wetter, fall is really quite beautiful. Theres a bunch of things I'm looking forward to this autumn, and I'm feeling exited just thinking about it.
What are you looking forward to the most about autumn?
